Massages

Drawing from ancient traditions and modern techniques, our massages will help restore balance to your mind, body, and spirit. Whether you seek deeper muscle work or gentle relaxation, our massage offerings are tailored to your unique needs.

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage dates back about 2,500 years and is an ancient Thai bodywork system designed to unblock trapped energy and improve vitality by applying pressure along the body’s energy pathways. It uses slow rhythmic pressing (with fingers, thumbs, hands, forearms, elbows, and feet) and assisted mild stretching.

This treatment improves blood circulation and energy flow as it relaxes tensed muscles and ligaments. Pressure points in the body are probed and kneaded. This is particularly beneficial for strained joints, stressed muscles, and body aches. The treatment leaves you with a feeling of lightness of being.

In contrast with other types of massage, this treatment is not practiced on a massage couch (table) but on a special comfortable mat. The pressure is not applied directly to the skin and receivers remain fully clothed during the entire session, therefore there’s no need for the use of massage oils.

Please note: Special loose garments such as a t-shirt and loose trousers should be worn for the treatment.

Restorative Massage

During the restorative massage treatment, we use selected essential oils (of your choice) and incorporate a wide variety of techniques from all around the world (Asia, Europe, Americas). We also like to call it an “Anti-Stress” massage, since we do not focus on the deeper muscle layers, but work more light in order to activate the nervous system (parasympathetic).

The aim is to detoxify and relax the body, elevate the soul, thus bringing a state of harmony, balance, and inner peace. At the same time, the skin will be nourished, the flow of energy will be released and the body will be relieved from tension and pain.
